Join us on our adventure to St. Croix, USVI to wrap a truck and a boat for Aquaman.
We are so excited to share with you our last UBW project boat. When we started wrapping boats almost 12 years ago, finding project boats was an easy task, with the up-turn of the boat market finding a project boat became a little more difficult. We bought and sold a couple of brand new boats.. Don’t get me wrong, we loved all the bells and whistles of the new boats, but we missed the fun and challenge of bringing new life to an older boat. Last summer we were super excited to find our diamond in the rough. I have to admit that working with the yellow hull was a bit of a design challenge but we are really happy with the finished project.
Thank you Scuttlebutt Magazine for making this great video and the interview at the Minneapolis Boat Show
Pictures are worth a thousand words. Check out this awesome transformation of this Mastercraft Maristar. The tower and the windshield frames were powder coated black, the windows were tinted. The interior vinyl was dyed black, the dash wrapped in carbon fiber. The owner is going to get new carpet and upholstery and this boat is going to look and feel like a new boat. With the rising boat prices this is a great investment when a boat is mechanically sound.
One of our goals when we started to wrap boats was to partner with a boat manufacture and this year was our year. Thank you to Gekko Boats for the opportunity!
We had the pleasure of working with the great crew of the Phaedo3 MOD70 racing sailboat. This is a 70' tiemaran that is currently raced around the world and holds multiple world records. These boats are known for their great speed and on the edge style of sailing! Check them out on facebook to keep up to date on their races. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Phaedo/190043577700851?fref=ts
